Travel infrastructure
The District is incredibly well located with major transport infrastructure linking the area with London and Cambridge in particular. The Central line gives excellent access to London with the District having more stations than many London Boroughs and Overground rail connections directly into Liverpool Street.
There is major road infrastructure with the M25 London Orbital travelling through the District and the M11 providing North and South access. Epping Forest is within a few miles travel distance from London Stansted Airport, providing direct access to cities all over Europe and beyond. There is also a growing network of cycle routes and foot paths, particularly in the rural areas, for those wishing a different form of getting around.
