The UK Innovation Corridor

Epping Forest District sits at the heart of The UK Innovation Corridor

The Innovation Core is the central part of the UK Innovation Corridor that stretches from London to Cambridge and Peterborough.

As our key sectors are Advanced Manufacturing, ICT / Digital / Media and Life Sciences, and where those sectors meet are Medtech and Digital Healthcare, our main focus.

Nvidia’s new Cambridge-1 supercomputer (the most powerful in the UK) will be located at the Kao Data site in Harlow and used for medical research.

Between the new headquarters for Public Health England (or its successor organisation) and the new Princess Alexandra Hospital (to be a digital hospital) there is a billion pounds of infrastructure being installed as well as plentiful new housing in the Harlow and Gilston Garden Town.

We have two major world class science and innovation parks, Chesterford Research Park and Harlow Innovation Park, as well as a number of smaller locations, ripe for investment.

Located midway between London and Cambridge, the Innovation Core is where innovation is transformed into commercial products and services.
