Growth

Epping Forest has exciting plans for growth that will benefit businesses that locate to the area.

With major investment, such as the new junction 7A on the M11, and continued high-level investment in digital infrastructure and networks, the connectivity is being put in place across the district in line with local ambition.

Located at the heart of a vibrant economic sub-region, there are a range of developments and significant public sector investment in and around the district that together will maintain and enhance economic vibrancy.

Land and property in the area has remained in high demand throughout the pandemic, with many companies based in the Capital looking for alternative provision in areas outside the city, but with excellent links through road, rail, tube and digital connectivity.

The council, working through its development company, Qualis, is also bringing forward exciting plans for over 10 hectares of development land at North Weald Airfield, major investment in town centres, and continued direct investment in digital infrastructure networks.
